Short version: we keep what a listing needs to exist, Stripe keeps the card numbers, and nobody here reads your mail to sell you something.

1. What we collect

When you submit a listing we store the name, email address, project URL, description, optional price and category you typed, plus the time you sent it. When you join the email waitlist we store the address and the local part you asked for. When you buy something, Stripe collects your payment and delivery details — we receive the order total, the item, and the email on the receipt, never your card number.

2. What the server sees

Our web server writes a standard access log: IP address, time, the page requested and the browser string. Submission forms are rate-limited per IP address, for which a short-lived counter file is kept. These logs exist to run the site and stop abuse; they are not used to profile visitors and are not joined to anything else.

3. Cookies and trackers

SlopCup.com sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, advertising or fingerprinting script. Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout pages under its own policy; nothing on our pages reads them.

4. Email at @slopcup.com

Mailboxes are stored in a sealed CUBE: the mailbox is encrypted at rest on our own server, and CUBE-Contact ties the address to the account that owns it. Mail is delivered to that mailbox and nowhere else. We do not scan it, sell it, or hand it to a third party except where the law compels us to.

5. Who else touches the data

Stripe processes payments and payouts. Our print-on-demand partner receives the shipping name and address of a merch order, because a shirt has to arrive somewhere. Our hosting provider stores the server this site runs on. That is the whole list.

6. How long we keep it

Listing submissions and waitlist entries stay until you ask us to remove them or the listing is withdrawn. Order and payout records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Access logs roll off the server on the usual schedule.

7. Your choices

Write to hello@slopcup.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or ask us to stop emailing you. Deleting a listing's record also removes it from the shelf. We answer within two business days.

8. Children and changes

The site is not aimed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly keep their data. This policy changes when the product does; the date below is the current version, and a change that matters to an existing account is emailed to that account first.
