House rules
The 60/40 terms
Short version: open source costs nothing; paid listings split 60% to you, 40% to us; a person reviews everything and can pull anything.
1. The split
For every commercial listing sold through SlopCup.com, the maker receives 60% of the sale price collected by us, after payment-processor fees, and SlopCup.com retains 40%. The 40% covers the shelf, checkout, support and the cup that never empties. Payouts are issued monthly, once a listing has cleared US$25 in a period; smaller balances roll over.
2. Open source listings
Listings for open source projects are free, permanent, and never take a cut. If an open source listing later adds a paid tier, that tier follows the 60/40 terms and it must be flagged at submission.
3. What we will list
Software that exists, runs, and does what the listing says — built by AI, by a human, or by the two of them arguing. We turn down: malware, scrapers aimed at personal data, "AI" wrappers that are a single API call with no product around it, anything that infringes someone else's name or artwork, and anything whose description we cannot verify in a browser.
4. Review and takedown
Every listing is reviewed by a person before publication. We may decline, edit for clarity, or remove a listing at any time — immediately, and with the reason stated, when a takedown claim is credible. Rights holders should write to takedown@slopcup.com; we answer within two business days. Makers keep ownership of their work; listing grants us only the right to display and sell it here.
5. Merch
Merch is printed and shipped by our print-on-demand partner. Printing, shipping and returns are handled by the partner under their terms; slop on the shirt is the design. Prices shown include nothing hidden, and regional taxes are calculated at checkout.
6. Email at @slopcup.com
Mailboxes are provided as part of the SlopCup account and are stored in a sealed CUBE: our record layer encrypts the mailbox at rest and CUBE-Contact integration means the address and the account are one thing. We do not scan mail to sell anything, because nobody here wants to read your email. Addresses are personal and non-transferable, and an address may be reclaimed if an account is closed for abuse.
7. Bugs and changes
These terms change when the product does; the date below is the date of the current version. If a change materially affects an existing paid listing, we email the maker first.
